The editor WILL NOT conduct research for writers, or verify facts, sources, websites, or quotations. The editor will not guarantee documents to be perfect or that writers will not find additional errors—only that documents will be improved. While this is a professional service, and every effort will be made to please, writers ultimately are responsible for their own documents. Above all, for those concerned about not recognizing their manuscript afterward, the editor will not change your voice!

​RATES
Following are the regular rates for editing all types of documents. For longer projects, an estimate range will be provided but the hourly rate will be billed (see Estimates page). 
• Editing: $38/hour (1-hr. min.). 
• Coaching: $38/hour (1-hr. min.). 
​• RUSH orders (within 24 hrs.): $50/hour (1-hr. min.).
* STUDENTS RATES: Only $28/hour!

WORKSHOPS
​For universities and seminaries, My Paper Whisperer conducts writer's workshops for all student levels. Inquire for details! ​PAYMENT

PROCESS
​All documents must be submitted and will be returned via email as Microsoft Word documents (.doc or .docx). Writers should keep copies of their original drafts. The editor will rename files to reflect the date and version of the last editing. The editor requires a minimum of 48-72 hours.
EXPECTATIONS
The editor WILL correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, syntax, and improve logic, flow, and organization. True to his motto, the editor will make suggestions as needed so the writer can rework weak or problematic areas. This coaching aspect of the service is included in the rate. Of course, the writer will be free to accept or reject any suggestions or changes made.
 
 
 
 
COACHING
​My Paper Whisperer is available for local (Houston) one-on-one coaching, customized for your level of expertise and needs. Simply submit your document as you would for editing, and then schedule a meeting with the editor to review the document line by line. Same reasonable rates apply—$40/hr. regular; $30/hr. student (plus expenses, e.g., parking).
